It's been one crazy year. Though, I haven't been posting I'm still available.  Please, if you are interested in design work or photography, feel free to contact me.

Thank you

I'm a Cover Girl!!!

I'm thrilled to say our house feature has made the cover of the February 2014 issue of Canadian House & Home.  All our hard work has paid off!

Starting in October 2012 we (the royal we!!!) well, Mason Brothers Contruction started a decent sized renovation on our bungalow.  We were out of the house for 6 months, but then I had the task of decorating the space.  It had to be ready for the photo shoot for the end of October 2013, a full year later.

The day of the shoot was a fun and trying one.  As you will notice my husband is MIA in the portrait.  He was at home that day, however he had just returned home from the hospital from having major surgery, so was resting quietly in our bedroom.

The beautiful shots were taken by Michael Graydon.  Take note of his amazing Lily Pad photograph within the feature - love his work.  I also need to thank my colleagues and good friends, Stacey Smithers and Sally Armstrong for helping out - love you guys!!!

It's been an interesting year, so nice to end it on a positive note with our feature.

Merry Christmas & Enjoy!

November 2013 Canadian House & Home

Stacey Smithers and myself had the opportunity this past fall to decorate our friend, Beth Hitchcock's main floor living space.  It was a fun process and are thrilled with the results:

Within the February 2013 issue of H&H, you will find a house feature of my good friend and colleague, Sally Armstrong.  She has completed a beautiful and completely inspiring reno on her Toronto home with her husband and three kids.

Sally approached me on using one of my images within her dining room.  She had a strong idea on what type of image she was looking for, and it turned out to be on the heals of a trip up north where I had taken shots of exactly what she was looking for.  It's amazing what a little suggestion reveals and within a few weeks the images were being printed off and framed.  It has been very humbling the response I've received on my photography in the latest issue of H&H.  I truly appreciate all the support and confidence.  Thank you!

Fall Photo Sessions

It's that time of year and I'm getting ready for the fall photo sessions.  Once again I've decided to hold the sessions at The Brickworks and Rosetta McClain Gardens. Both are fantastic locations and even if you are not there for a photo session, still worth checking out.

Please let me know if you are interested in booking a session.  Also, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I found this post tonight while visiting a few new blog sites.  The idea of merging Skype & family portraits is absolutely brilliant.  For every one who has family across the world, here's a great way to bring you together.

Have a look...
