Photo Day - 2 Dates, 2 Locations

It's that time of year again!!! Whether you would like to update the family portrait or be prepared for your Christmas Cards. I know it seems crazy to think about Christmas Cards, but before we know it the holidays will be upon us.

This year a second date and location have been added. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at Rosetta McClain Gardens, however The Brickworks is dog friendly. Take a look at the dates and let me know if you are interested:

One happy family...well maybe four!

I received a call just before Thanksgiving from our fantastic neighbours at the cottage, hoping to have family pics taken. As it entailed a trip to Midland, ON I suggested opening the offer to their friends to round out the day. The weather up north was sunny with clear blue skies and the fall colours were in full force. 4 families later, including a few dogs, the day was definitely full of energy. Here's a selection:

With some help from my 4 1/2 year old the house is ready for Halloween. The kids walking by are loving the tombstones and the crows are scaring all the neighbourhood dogs - at a quick glance they look real!

Summer Memories

I'm shocked to see my last entry was in February, but I guess it's easy to say I took the summer off!!! Well, now I'm back and hope to be posting more and more. Here are a few shots from the summer with plenty more to come!

For the past three years it has become tradition of using the cottage as the backdrop for Tate's yearly photo. For the first two years we managed to squeeze in Charlie (his Aunt & Uncle's dog), but this year Grayson made his debut. Next year will be interesting with the twins - no, not mine!

Finally...

OK, so it's mid-February and this is my first post of the year. Really where does the time go!?! Well, I might have the answer, for me at least it goes to my two kids. Between diaper changes, playing cars, laundry (only after 9pm on weeknights!!!) and generally keeping the house together my time is limited. However, I did receive a new lens for Christmas, so I've been taking photos of the kids. Here are the latest shots. Enjoy!
